Stewardship: The careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.

At Spring Valley Community Church we strive to follow Christ's simple example on how to take care of that to which has been entrusted to us.  As Christ spent much of his time and resources reaching out we have chosen to follow the same path.  We aspire to utilize more of these resources to build relationships with people as described in Act 1:8b “and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”.  We are using Gods resources to have an effect in Spring Valley, Tijuana, Nepal and Africa.  Currently 30% of tithes received are directly returned to the mission field (reaching out).

Galatians 6:10 states “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Following this example13% of tithes received are used to directly minister to members of the body.

Tithing is an act of worship between you and God. As such, actual tithing activity is confidential and not disclosed.  The churches non-personal financial records are available for review by all members.  I am blessed by being allowed to use the talents God has given me to assist this body in its goal of reaching Spring Valley and beyond for Jesus Christ.

In His service,
