• Proverbs Chapter 4

    Proverbs 4

I enjoy reading these Proverbs everyday. I do hope that some of the Trek and Journey youth are reading as well.

The kids who successfully complete this month long challenge will be going on an outing to the Drive-In Movies. I hope to see that they are following through with this challenge when we meet again next Wednesday.

  • Thoughts on Proverbs Chapter One

At the beginning of November Pastor Riko challenged the Trek and Journey Awana youth to read a chapter of Proverbs each day and to the write a few sentences about what they had read. Though we are now 10 days into November I plan to do this along with them. I thought that posting these thoughts on the churches website might encourage some of the youth to read along with me and perhaps post some of their ideas here as well in the comments. This is a great exercise and a way to begin reading from your bibles everyday. Beginning with Proverbs and continuing on in the months to come.
